"A simpler life starts with getting outside. The rest naturally follows."
I started Exhale Engineering in 2023, in the foothills of Colorado — on the belief that a good idea should be able to move from your head into the real world, as easily as an exhale.
I've spent the last decade in product engineering, prototyping, and CAD — everything from luxury van interiors to standalone outdoor components. Living out here pushed me toward a simpler life; my wife and I live in a tiny home I designed and built from reclaimed materials.
That's the same instinct I bring to client work: design nuanced, useful, often modular products that make time outside more approachable — and make them genuinely manufacturable, not just pretty in a render.
I work best embedded — one engineer, involved every step, from the first 3D render through prototypes and manufacturing support. You stay in the loop the whole way; the person you talk to is the person doing the work.
You're in the loop from the first sketch to the final drawing — no black-box handoffs.
Products designed to look right and hold up in the field, not just on a screen.
Renders, prototypes, and manufacturing support until it's something a shop can actually make.
